A message of thanks from old KITA student and now prize winner Alhaji Charles P Mensah

"Hi Lovans,

I am writing this official letter to management and staff of KITA about my ambition and achievements.

Through hard work and dedication, also your personal advice, I was able to win ‘Best District Roots and Tuber (Yam) Farmer’ at Assin South District in my first year of cultivating yam.

I only started serious farming in May 2002 and have the following crops on my farmland: Oil Palm, Plantain, Orange, Garden Eggs, Pepper, Okra, Maize, Millet, Ginger, Snails, Sheep, Grand Nut, Yam, Cassava, Sugar Cane and Muncuna. These crops take up about 10 acres of farmland although I only started with two acres.

I hope to be best national farmer in the near future and hope through technical advice from KITA I will make it. Thanks to all teaching staff & management of KITA."
